Great Example Of Dating Profile For Men…Here’s How To Do It Right
Online dating has been around since the late 1990′s but many guys out there still need a good example of dating profile for men to show them what works. It’s not just a page about random facts about you and your life – it’s the impression they make to the girls who read them. If you don’t have the confidence to put yourself in the best possible light (without faking) you’re going to get passed over for someone else who can.
What does a great profile look like?
The ‘About Me’ Section
Typically a profile would just need your gender, location, a short description about yourself and what type of woman you’d be interested in. The ‘About Me’ section is like a short essay explaining your best, most interesting qualities.
Normal:
Name: Michael
Age: Mid 30′s, single father to a 10 year old kid
‘About Me’:
“Hi, I’m a fun-loving sweet guy who loves to cook. On weekends I like to play football with my son and make great spaghetti. Other people say I’m easy to talk to, easy to get along with but dependable. Let me cook for you sometime.
Better:
The description is okay, but not that eye-catching. Doesn’t everyone think of themselves as fun or easy to talk to? A better way to start of is with a funny quote, joke (for taglines) about the things he likes (songs, movies or his hobby, cooking). Something like:
“I sizzle like my steaks… No wonder all pets like me
Hi! I’m a chef in the making (at least to my son) who loves Jack black movies and really cheesy horror films. I work in accounting but with a really loud tie. What do you do for fun? Email me so we could talk it over a barbeque some time.”
The ‘About My Perfect Match/Who I’m looking for’ Section
This is another good example of dating profile for men for the section describing your ideal date/girl:
Normal:
“I like girls who are girly, but can still be one of the guys when the situation calls for it. Girls in little black dresses turn me on! If you fit these qualifications, I’m ready to rock your world!
Better:
Some guys make the usual mistake of thinking about what a person looks like rather than writing about specific qualities. A better way would be:
“I’m interested in confident women who not only take care of themselves but can let loose and drink the occasional beer. If you like to cook as much as I do, we can share a “kitchen date” and make some awesome pasta. Take me to your favorite restaurant and let’s be food critics together. Hope to talk with you soon.”
A great example of dating profile for men includes what you think are the highlights of your life – your hobbies, work, travels or some special skill. Imagine meeting someone for coffee for the first time. Just put whatever that conversation would include on paper and you’ll be fine.
